I had to answer this because, really, how could I not?
Do I believe in UFOs? Yes and no. I believe that there MUST be something out there. It's impossible that we are the only sensible creatures in the Universe. Come on, billions of galaxies and only Earthlings as inhabitants?
What I don't believe is that aliens are only green creatures with ten eyes, four ears and so on, that they come from the sky with motherfucking big spaceships and that they are more intelligent and clever than us. There could be another planet out there, similar to ours, with humanoid people that right now are wondering the same things: Is there life out there? Will they ever come here and invade us? Is it only sci-fi or are they really among us?
Maybe we will never know, maybe we will never go further than the Solar System. Or maybe in three or four centuries, our great-great-great-great-grandchildren will travel across the stars to bring their alien girlfriend home to meet the parents. After all, five hundred years ago our forefathers believed that the Earth was flat. Then Columbus came and discovered a new world, with people, cultures and traditions. Why couldn't it happen with another planet? I say: You never know!
And just because we're talking about aliens...
Tell me you didn't expect this from me!
